Skin Care Saturday: Best AHA's

AHA's, or Alpha Hydroxy Acids, are derived from glycolic acid, lactic acid or malic acid. They are used to exfoliate the top layer of our skin and smooth the skin, which can lead to younger-looking skin. If you have dull looking skin, clogged pores or sun damage, then you must consider using an AHA. Check for irritation on your skin the next morning after using an AHA, and stop immediately if you notice any. If you have oily skin with acne, you should consider using a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), because a BHA goes beyond your top layer of skin and can penetrate and clean out your pores. Look for my post about BHA's next Saturday.
